Plots(1)

The best things in life are... stolen! Tom Selleck is Nick Lassiter, suave, debonair bon vivant - and thief! Whether he’s charming the cream of society at dinner - or emptying their safes in the dead of night - Lassiter is the best. In the spring of 1939, Lassiter is in London. War is not far away. One morning Lassiter finds himself under arrest and thoroughly framed by Scotland Yard and the F.B.I. In return for his freedom they have a “little job” for him steal $5,000,000 in diamonds from inside the German Embassy. The stones are en route to finance sabotage and espionage in the U.S. and South America. The diamonds are inside the most secure building in London with its horde of S.S guards - but Lassiter’s biggest problem is Countess Kari von Fusten, an elegant, beautiful Gestapo agent and the most deadly woman in Europe.
