Ágnes, Vass and Kriszt run a sanatorium for consumptives. Fifi, daughter of the institute owner is also here, mortally ill. Feri, the ski trainer relieves her with his courtship every now and then from her boredom and distress. Listening to the music of the violin from the neighbouring room also feels good. Vass and Ágnes let Fifi have fun, for she has little time left. Doctor Kriszt, however, strictly forbids any rashness. One day they have to cable the father that his daughter died. She had some fun for the last time. Kriszt blames his colleagues, but the baron still appoints Vass director. (official distributor synopsis)
