When young struggling go-getter Jimmy (Heath Ledger) is offered the shot of a lifetime working for local crime boss Pando (Bryan Brown) he grabs it with both hands. But not everything goes to plan and when his special delivery goes missing, a package of $10,000, he finds himself in a whole lot of trouble with the boss and in desperate need of help. The inspiration from Guy Ritchie's work, particularly his famous film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels is evident. This is a film that benefits from the popularity of crime films by Tarantino and Ritchie. It is more on the average side, but Heath Ledger's performance is worth mentioning, as he proved his talent and potential for a great career even back then. Overall impression: 55%.
