Irma arrives at her 18th birthday in a reform school. She is collected by a taxi: she has a secret contract from Canada for her baby to be born. While on leave to have her child, she works. What she wants most, however, is to find her mother who has left her. Józsi, her colleague, falls in love with her, and with his help they find the house in the photo on her necklace. As it turns out, due to the pregnancy of Szilvia, not yet of age, her parents purchased an ID-card, and after giving birth the girl disappeared. Years later, the owner of the ID-card, Irma Varró, cheated the parents out of everything they had. Little Irma travels to Canada and once there, she hurries to visit her mother. Szilvia has a family, and she wants Irma to stay with them. But the girl has a different future in mind for her child: to grow up with Józsi and in a family. (Mokép)
