Star Trek VII: Generations

Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and the crew of the Enterprise-D become ensnared in the deadly plan of a madman, Soran (Malcolm McDowell), as he plots to destroy an entire planet to summon the energy ribbon known as the Nexus.
