When FBI agent Barry Scott decodes a menacing message from the Germans about Dr. Reisner, a scientist who is working on a device to detect night air raids, he and his fellow agents race to Reisner's laboratory. Before they get there, however, German spies John Brandt and Fritz destroy the laboratory and kill Reisner's assistant. Barry and his men arrive in time to rescue Reisner and his daughter Christine, but the spies later succeed in kidnapping the scientist after art dealer Henri Franck, the leader of the spy ring, murders an FBI agent and uncovers Reisner's hiding place. By decoding another message, Barry learns that the spy ring is expecting a new member, and he infiltrates their organization, using the name Hoeffler. (official distributor synopsis)
