Plots(1)
Lucas (Elliot Crosset Hove), an idealistic but naive young Lutheran clergyman, is on his way to a remote part of Iceland to build a church and photograph its people. With the help of a translator (Hilmar Guðjónsson) and guide (Ingvar E. Sigurðsson), he must journey across the spectacular and dangerous terrain, littered with glaciers and rivers. But the deeper he goes into the unforgiving landscape, the more he strays from his purpose, the mission and morality, with unexpected and shocking repercussions. (Palace Films)
