Rutger Hauer and Natasha Richardson star in this penetrating psychological thriller about a man's search for a new beginning and a woman's deadly search for truth. Ben Jordan (Hauer) is released from prison after serving 15 years for killing his pregnant wife. Laura Mathews (Richardson) is his social worker.
