Biography
Florian Habicht was born in Berlin, and moved to New Zealand with his family in the 1980's. His first film, Woodenhead (2003), was his international breakthrough in the film industry. Love Story from 2011 was also a successful festival hit all over the world. Pulp: a Film about Life, Death and Supermarkets (2014) was originated when Jarvis Cocker, the lead singer of the musical group Pulp, asked Habicht to direct a feature documentary of the band after seeing Love Story at the London International Film Festival.
