Biography

William Eubank began working as a director at age 18, creating commercials for Mikasa and other clients. He worked at Panavision for eight years, as a camera technician and digital imaging technician. His feature directorial and screenwriting debut, Love (2011), premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival; and screened at the Seattle Film Festival, Fantasia Film Festival, Fantastic Fest in Austin, and the Athens International Film Festival, where Mr. Eubank won the Best Director prize. The space station-set drama – made on the modest budget of $500,000 – was also honored with a Golden Reel Award from the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) guild. Released independently on iTunes, the movie debuted in the site's overall Top 10. Mr. Eubank has worked as a cinematographer on several features, including Wreckage and directed by John Asher and starring Aaron Paul; and Caught in the Crossfire and House of the Rising Sun, both directed by Brian A. Miller. He was the second unit director on Allen Hughes' Broken City, starring Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crowe. He and The Signal screenwriter David Frigerio are writing a military action thriller, JTAC, which he directed, with Mr. Frigerio and The Signal producer Brian Kavanaugh-Jones also producing.
