Slavina (Silvia Corti) is a porn activist and multimedia artist originally from Italy. Her career in the audiovisual field began in the 90s with the Roman collective, ‘Candida TV’. In 2005 she arrived in Barcelona and started working in mainstream pornography, discovering in the local scene a post-pornographic hypothesis, the axis around which all of her recent production revolves. Body politics, new sexual imagery, and the deconstruction of gender stereotypes are the issues addressed in her videos, books, performances, and workshops. She has a blog in which she publishes her own writings as well as Italian translations of Spanish-speaking authors, and from which she promotes sexual dissidence. She collaborates with ‘Come4’ to promote quality, ethically produced porn.
