Biography
Naoko Ogigami did her film studies at the University of Southern California. Returned to Japan, her directorial debut Yoshino’s Barber Shop (2003) earned a Special Mention at the Kinder Film Fest of the Berlin International Film Festival. Megane – Glasses (2007) earned attention at several international film festivals in 2008, including the Sundance, Hong Kong and San Francisco International Film Festivals. Her film Rent-a-Cat (2012) was featured in the Panorama section of the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival.
