Biography
Alice Diop is a French film director, prominent author of social documentaries. Since 2005, she has directed short and feature films for which she has received several awards such as the César for Best Short Film for Towards Tenderness (2016). In 2022, she received the Grand Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival and the Luigi de Laurentis Award for a debut film for Saint Omer, her first fiction film.
