Peter Strickland

Peter Strickland began directing short films in the early 1990s and made his feature film debut in 2009 with Katalin Varga. The film received a Silver Bear in Berlin for its artistic contribution and the European Discovery Award from the European Film Academy. His next films were Berberian Sound Studio (2012), winner of the Best Director and Best Actor accolades at the British Independent Film Awards, The Duke of Burgundy (2014) and In Fabric (2018), which competed in the Official Selection at San Sebastian. In 2020 he presented the short film Cold Meridian. In 2022 he premiered Flux Gourmet in the Encounters section of the Berlin Festival.
