Jessie Cave

Jessie Cave joins the cast of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" as Lavender Brown, Ron Weasley's overzealous and affectionate first girlfriend.

Cave studied Illustration and Animation at Kingston University, London, and worked backstage at various theatres before deciding to pursue an acting career. She made her professional acting debut in the role of Stella in the British telefilm "Summerhill," based on the controversial and bohemian school in Suffolk. Cave also gained a place at the prestigious Oxford School of Drama, but before she could attend she learned she won the coveted role of Lavender and decided to postpone her enrollment. In her spare time, Cave writes and draws and has a passion for illustration.
