Biography

After his training at Silpakorn University, Bangkok’s most important art school, Wisit Sasanatieng (1964) worked as a director for commercials. He wrote scripts for his friend and colleague Nonzee Nimibutr, including Nang Nak (1999). Tears of the Black Tiger (2000), his directing debut, was the first Thai film ever selected officially for the Cannes Film Festival. His latest works include The Unseeable (2008) and Red Eagle (2010).
