Biography
A producer, director and screenwriter from Durango, he was one of the most brilliants directors of Mexican cinematography of the golden period between the 40s and 60s. He made over fifty films, among them Historia de un gran amor (1942), Rosenda (1948), La ausente (1952), and Cada voz lleva su angustia (1965). However, his most important film was definitely Distinto amanecer (1943).
