Johannes Roberts

Johannes Roberts, director and screenwriter, made his directing debut at age 25 with the sci-fi movie Sanitarium (2001). He continued shooting genre movies over the next few years but his first big success was the 2010 horror flick F (2010), in which a group of teachers is terrorized by their students. The film has been shown at numerous genre festivals, including the Sitges FF, and even found distribution in multiple countries.

He returned to the world of students in his subsequent television movie Roadkill (2011), where a group of kids must fight a deadly curse. His next project, Storage 24 (2012), was a commercial hit although critics were divided. The same year that he shot 47 Meters Down (2017), he also completed The Other Side of the Door (2016).
