Claudrena Harold

Biography

Claudrena Harold is an assistent professor of History and African American Studies at the University of Virginia. In 2007, she wrote the book The Rise and Fall of the Garvey Movement in the Urban South in which she narrated the history of Marcus Garvey's Universal Negro Improvement Association. Harold collaborated with her college professor and filmmaker Kevin Jerome Everson in 2013, together they made two short films.
