Biography

Marcos was born and raised in the island of Florianópolis, Brazil, but moved to São Paulo to study the art of movie making. He graduated in Cinema from FAAP College and has a production company with some of his friends from Film School. Since 2001 he's been making shorts. His feature length directorial debut was in 2015 with the slasher movie Massacre County (codirected with André de Campos Mello). Since 2012 he also became a published author and has 3 books on the shelves of every bookstore in Brazil.
