Biography
Natasha Gregson Wagner has chosen an intentionally unorthodox path and established a career that defies every predictable assumption one might have of a blue-blooded Hollywood descendant. The pretty and unassuming actress completed work on two independent features; Search Engines, an ensemble comedy directed by Russell Brown, and Anesthesia. Wagner's body of work firmly establishes her place in the indie film community. She portrayed the tough, biker-chick girlfriend, Barbara Richardson, in James Cox's Wonderland, which starred Val Kilmer and Josh Lucas.
In Stephen Frears' High Fidelity, Natasha played a successful music critic opposite John Cusack. She also starred opposite James Woods and Melanie Griffith in 1998's Another Day in Paradise, Larry Clark's follow up to the controversial art-house film, Kids. Most notably, Natasha received overwhelming acclaim for her role as the sexy and quirky Lou Johnson opposite Robert Downey Jr. in James Toback's 1997 film, Two Girls and a Guy.
Wagner's other film credits include the 1997 Sundance film festival hit, First Love, Last Rites, opposite Giovanni Ribisi, David Lynch's hallucinogenic Lost Highway, with Patricia Arquette and Bill Pullman; George Hickenlooper's Dogtown, and the comedy Sol Goode, opposite Jamie Kennedy.
Wagner made her stage debut opposite Marlo Thomas, in the legendary playwright Arthur Laurents' play, New Years Eve, which opened at the George Street Playhouse in March 2009. The play opened to rave reviews and critics described Natasha as disarmingly provocative and mesmerizing as Samantha.
On the small screen, Wagner has guest starred in episodes of House M.D., C.S.I, ER, The 4400 Medium, and Cold Case. She was a series regular on Fox's Pasadena with Dana Delaney as well as the ABC hit series Chicago Hope and FOX's Ally Macbeal. Wagner also starred in Mary Lambert's installment of Showtime's Rebel Highway anthology series, entitled Dragstrip Girl. Wagner resides in Los Angeles.
