Biography

Jennifer Reeder is an American artist, film-maker and scriptwriter. She stood out in her early career for her acting and video works such as White Trash Girl, in which the artist explores under a fictitious identity the culture of the low income white culture in the United States. Her latest movies explore the lives of teenagers, their use of music, slang, and the way they express their identities and aspects of their emotional world. She teaches nowadays at the Arts an History School of the Illinois University, she is the founder of the Tracers Book Club, a social justice movement focussing on feminism.
