Samuel Collardey

He worked for television for four years before enrolling in the audiovisual school La fémis in the section of Image. During his studies at La fémis, he has been the camera operator in numerous short films, among them Nikolay Khomeriki’s A Deux, 2nd Prize of the Cinéfondation Cannes 2005. He is also a director: his thesis film Du soleil en hiver was awarded the prize SACD at last year Cannes Directors’s Fortnight, the special prize of the Jury in Clermont-Ferrand and the award Bayad d’or in Namur. His filmography as a director includes two documentary films, René et Yvonne (2004) and above mentioned Du soleil en Hiver (2005).
