Biography
Gustaf Skarsgård educated at the Swedish Academic School of Drama, Gustaf has a vast array of theatre, film and television credentials. He is the son of actor Stellan Skarsgård and brother of actor Alexander Skarsgård.
A 2007 ‘Shooting Star’ recipient, Gustaf won the prestigious Guldbagge Award for Best Actor in a Leading role in 2006 for his role in “Kidz in da Hood”, following his nomination in 2002. Set on a multicultural council estate in Stockholm, the film explores the issues of grief, unemployment and the plight of refugees. It also won Guldbagge Awards for Best Film, Best Direction and Best Screenplay.
Theatre credits for the Royal Dramatic Theatre, Sweden, have included Frank Wedekind's “Lulu”.
