Biography
Liina Paakspuu graduated Tallinn University’s Baltic Film and Media School with BA in Audiovisual Media (2003) and MA in Film Arts (2009). Liina’s debut feature film Wish Tree premiered at the Festival des films du monde de Montréal in 2009 and won the Best Comedy Award at The Tiburon International Film Festival in California (and had a successful festival run in many countries). She has written and directed short films (e.g. Small Town Men, So Long, Suckers), documentaries (e.g. 91 Kilometers, Fox Season, Killer), music videos, TV drama and comedy series.
