James Wolk graduated from the University of Michigan's drama school and soon after was cast in the "Hallmark Hall of Fame" telefilm Front of the Class. Directed by Peter Werner and starring opposite Patricia Heaton and Treat Williams, Mr. Wolk portrayed real-life teacher Brad Cohen, who has been challenged with Tourette's Syndrome from a young age.
He has since played the lead role in the acclaimed television series Lone Star, with Eloise Mumford, Adrianne Palicki, David Keith, and Jon Voight; appeared in notable guest arcs on Happy Endings and Shameless; and starred in the summer 2012 USA Network miniseries Political Animals, alongside Sigourney Weaver, Ellen Burstyn, Sebastian Stan, and CiarĂ¡n Hinds.
Mr. Wolk's feature credits include Andy Fickman's You Again, opposite Kristen Bell and Odette Yustman. His stage work includes the Geffen Playhouse production of Geoffrey Nauffts' Next Fall, starring opposite the playwright under Sheryl Kaller's direction.
