Kim Tae Gon, known for winning the Best Screenplay Award at the 2013 Thessaloniki International Film Festival with the independent film Sunshine Boys and gaining attention with Familyhood featuring an imaginative story and the charisma of top star Kim Hye-soo, is a renowned planner of works with unique imagination, strong characters, and solid stories. As the representative of the independent film production company Gwanghwamun Cinema, Kim Tae Gon has successfully tackled projects like The King of Jokgu, The Queen of Crime, and Microhabitat. In Project Silence, he challenges his first disaster film as the director and screenwriter.
