Sydney corporate lawyer David Burton (Richard Chamberlain) shrugged it off as luck of the draw once assigned the legal aid defense of four aborigines over the murder of one of their own. As he becomes steeped in the case, however, he starts suspecting an uncanny nexus between his clients' tribal beliefs and the eerie, apocalyptic weather phenomena plaguing the region.
