"The good news is your dates are here. The bad news is... they're dead!" When aliens jettison an interstellar space pod in 1959 it crashes to Earth and infects an unsuspecting human in a most sinister manner, establishing a macabre baseline of monster mayhem. 25 years later, the cryogenically frozen subject remains part of a college study. But when students Chris Romero (Jason Lively) and J.C. Hooper (Steve Marshall) release it on a fraternity dare, the infected subject not only defrosts to wreak havoc once again but turns the small town upside down. Bugs, slugs, slithering creatures of all manner and malevolence infiltrate the community in the name of disarray, hell-bent on transforming it into a zombie playground where the living dead rule. An 80's cult horror classic from Fred Dekker, capturing the eerie essence of 1950s horror sci-fi and outlandish comedy. (Umbrella Entertainment)
