As a result of thirty years of having diabetes, visual artist Bram Cox lost her eyesight six years ago. By developing herself into a sound artist she succeeded in changing her artistry. Cox turns environmental sounds she has recorded herself into compositions she subsequently integrates in performances. The film follows her during a sound project in a Czech convent in Bohemia. Director Joost Verhey met Cox in 1991 and decided to make a film about her art: "What fascinates me especially is the inner force that incites her time after time to investigate the matter."
