Exodus or Vina's World

A report on the world of Kurdish refugees and illegal immigrants. It depicts the trip of a father and his five-year-old daughter, Vina, to Northern Iraq, where they try to help her uncle escape to Europe. He reaches Turkey successfully but to no avail - once in Istanbul he becomes so fearful that, to the despair of his family, he decides to return to Northern Iraq. A portrayal of a world in which refugees are not adventurers, stepping boldly into a new future, but ordinary people frightened and reluctant to leave their country. Every year 400 refugees enter Europe illegally. (One World)
