Under the Dress

The director Aleksandr Vinogradov's grandma was his childhood ally. In her house, he could dress as a woman, explore his desires and sexual identity and look within himself for what was forbidden to others. This film is a specific self-portrait, combining the director's childhood memories and his present in the context of the oppressive political system in Russia. (Mezipatra Queer Film Festival)
