The Place of the Three Waterfalls

Mitaki means “Site of the Three Waterfalls” in Japanese. Located a few miles from the epicenter of the atomic explosion that descended on the city of Hiroshima in 1945, this temple surrounded by mountains remained stoic, protected from the bomb’s nuclear explosion.
