A particularly ingenious murder is committed on the noon flight from Paris to London. Poirot is on board, but unfortunately he's asleep when the killing takes place. It becomes a matter of pride for him to track down the murderer. Returning to Paris, he discovers his chief suspect is a mysterious American - all the more mysterious because there wasn't an American on board. (iTunes)

When a murder takes place right in front of Hercule Poirot, on a plane, and without him even noticing, that's something worth paying attention to. Hercule then conducts a splendid investigation, which includes reconstructions, a lot of traveling, and a classic resolution in front of a group of people, where you don't know who the murderer actually is. A great episode. ()
