Comes a Horseman

Jacob ‘J.W.’ Ewing (Jason Robards, All The President’s Men) is a man determined to build his cattle empire and make his name on the land. Fellow farmer Ella Connors (Jane Fonda, Coming Home) owns the nearby property and is subject to J.W's pressure to sell her failing cattle ranch and move on. With no one else to turn to she seeks help from her other neighbour, war-veteran Frank ‘Buck’ Athearn (James Caan, The Godfather) and buoyed by the assistance of die-hard rancher Dodger (Richard Farnsworth) the three face the rugged challenges of the unforgiving country together.
