The second part continues the visual and verbal acrobatics of the first part, but slowly and surely, a bitter taste creeps into the film. Although it is a visually and musically refined piece of work, I see its main strength in the content. As the end approaches, the resemblance between Silvio Berlusconi and a whole host of other politicians who have risen to power primarily due to considerable wealth and a strong desire for power becomes increasingly apparent. Unlike others, however, Berlusconi enjoyed himself even while working, which he ultimately paid for. In conclusion, I must say that Paolo Sorrentino has better works to his credit, but I don't know of a more entertaining and caustic film from the world of high politics, so there is a certain uniqueness to this work.
