A cunning tactical play by King Alfred keeps Uhtred close at heel, but it's not long before Uhtred realizes he's been tricked and his relationship with the King hits a new low. Luckily, this episode was a complete turnaround from the previous one. The story had a much better pace, and instead of pointless, boring conversations in the woods, we got some intense scheming and intrigue. It was a nice distraction from the budget constraints, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
