Another Trip to the Moon

A dreamy, absurdist fantasy film based on Indonesian legends. It's a magical surrealistic journey of Asa, daughter of a shaman, who confronts her own mother, fighting for her own life and freedom. To escape her mother's grip, she retreats into a forest, where she and her girlfriend live by hunting and fishing. One day, Asa is collected by a dog, who turns out to be a man sent by her mother. The story seems to take place in a remote prehistoric past, but when Asa leaves the woods, she finds herself in a modern world. (Moscow International Film Festival)
