The first part was more fun. I don't even know why I postponed the second part for so long, it's not bad, but Yang Lu definitely entertained me more with his new film A Writer's Odyssey. The quality of the technical aspect is a given, and when it comes to action, it's decent from a choreographic point of view and it is also nicely R-rated. On the other hand, there aren't many fights and the climax comes in the middle of the film. The second half loses its momentum, and the expectations of a grand battle at the end, as the title "Infernal Battlefield" suggests, unfortunately, aren’t met. Adding more action and avoiding quiet moments would definitely help. 6/10. ()
