The film is a suggestive depiction of adolescence, which can be very painful and confusing for a girl. The protagonist changes before our very eyes and it seems that she is not sure whether it is a change for the better or worse. The director, who studied in many countries (including the Czech Republic and New Zealand), exposes her heroine when she is seemingly hurt. (Anifilm)
