Hardy without Laurel. Here the rotund comic is teamed with former silent clown Langdon (a much overlooked artist in his own right). The latter is a carnival man who owns the title character, a loving pachyderm. When the elephant comes down with an illness it's doctor Hardy who brings her back to health. The beast falls for the new man and Langdon takes him to court for "alienation of affections." It all works out in the end; the elephant returns to Langdon just before she gives birth.
