Garabedian documented his mother at her home while she is making sarma, a time-consuming, traditional Ottoman recipe based on vine leaves. The footage is recorded on Hi8, DVCAM, and HD respectively and thus demonstrates an evolution from analogue to digital video. (International Film Festival Rotterdam)
