Carl Martin (Andy Williams, NORTH BY NORTHWEST) is by all accounts an upstanding guy. Quiet, a bit withdrawn, but entirely inoffensive, he works as a gardener in the still-developing Los Angeles of the 1950s. But after he discovered that his beautiful blonde wife was betraying him wife another man, Carl was driven over the edge of sanity. Now, he trawls the streets at night, using a pair of garden shears to brutally murder any attractive blonde unfortunate enough to cross his path. Williams turns in a chilling performance in Arnold Laven's (THE RACK) moody noir slasher. (official distributor synopsis)
