Crooked House

When the wealthy Greek patriarch Aristide Leonides dies in suspicious circumstances, his granddaughter Sophia implores Charles Hayward, a private detective and her former lover, to travel to her family estate and investigate. When he arrives, Charles discovers three generations of the Leonides dynasty and a poisonous atmosphere of bitterness, resentment and jealousy.
