Kugits, a 90-year old gentleman, is in no mood to leave his fortune to a bunch of lazy individuals, who pretend to be his relatives. He investigates into the whereabouts of another relative, related to him by blood, offering her a job in an Angora rabbit unit on his estate. However, it is Horváth Margit, a nice young lady, who, using the documents of identification of Papp Irma, the real relative, takes the job. Kugits likes Margit very much. He educates her, but unfortunately for him, she falls in love with Rudasi Sándor, his bailiff whom he dismissed earlier. They leave the farm together. Thanks to his risky dealings at the Stock Exchange, he goes bankrupt. When he leaves his manor-house with dignity, he is penniless but cheerful. We can see him again as an expert working in the Angora rabbit unit owned by Margit and Sándor. (official distributor synopsis)
