Season 2 (2017) (S02)
Season 2 follows in the footsteps of the first one in terms of outstanding production design and screenwriting, but the place where Winston Churchill last presided over and to some extent overshadowed the royal family is now empty. Fortunately, Morgan solves the lack of a big personality in his own way, as he more or less unpicks the series and at the same time skillfully illustrates the marriage of the royal couple with partial stories – and we get to learn a lot, about Charles, the Nazis, trendy hairstyles; pick one, the menu is varied and without exception excellent.
