The second episode was fantastic, with even more drama than the first. However, I docked a star for the overly idealized portrayal of Africa. The scenes with native tribes spontaneously lining the roads to greet the new queen felt a bit too contrived for my taste. ()
A very balanced episode all round, just like the first one. It also outlines a trip abroad, which shows, in addition to the beautiful nature of Africa, the breadth that the series is likely to cover thematically. ()
