Widower since three years ago Denis Patar is an idealistic devoted and loving father of two, Janis, 13, and Wednesday, 9. He holds several jobs and is nonetheless threatened by the economic crisis, and he does all he can to protect his dearly beloved children and raise them in the holy libertarian and progressive principles of the 80's (as well as in the religion of David Bowie), but he's often overwhelmed. When he forgets, again, to pick Wednesday up after school, he has to face a young social worker and register in a compulsory course to prove that he can look after his family. Will idealistic Denis be able to accept the conventions of standard schooling or will he end up losing his daughters? (Gijón International Film Festival)
