Queen of the Baboons is a deeply intimate portrayal of life in a baboon troop through the eyes of a female named Tubu. From the moment of her birth, Tubu is destined for greatness. Born into the troop's highest-ranking family, she'll become queen one day. But privilege can't protect her from hardship and danger. Against the backdrop of Botswana's exquisite Okavango Delta, she must survive flood and famine, brutal male baboons, a deadly leopard, and the loss of her mother, to emerge as a feared and powerful monarch.
