Two cold-blooded mercenaries (Brian Gleeson and Damien Molony) are on a mission to undertake a kidnapping in the war-torn Middle East. On their way to nab Shadha (Sofia Boutella), the daughter of a local tycoon, the pair forms an unlikely bond. As the true nature of their mission becomes clear their violent and desperate world implodes, past atrocities come to the surface threatening to tear each of them apart. On one hand, minimalist films interest me, but on the other hand, it's very likely that nothing will come out of it that would really captivate me. The Iraqi desert, two soldiers, one woman, and basically no one else. I didn't feel for a moment that this was something that really deserved my greater attention.
